CENTURY 21 System was born in the United States in 1971 and is now one of the world's largest real estate brokerage networks with 12,900 independently owned and operated offices and 144,000 independent sales professionals in 84 countries and territories worldwide.

In Japan, CENTURY 21 REAL ESTATE OF JAPAN LTD. was established in 1983, and the first 12 franchise offices in the Tokyo metropolitan area were started the next year, followed by the Kansai region in 1990, the Chubu region in 1999, and the Kyushu region in 2003. As of the end of December 2023, there were 980 offices nationwide.

Together with all franchise offices that are deeply rooted in their local area, our common corporate philosophy is to operate real estate brokerage services with high standards and ethics under the trademark of "CENTURY 21". We have achieved the No.1(*) status as the largest network in Japan by real estate brokerage franchise office count as of July 2023 according to Tokyo Shoko Research Ltd. We will continue to strive for excellence not only in size, but also in the quality of service to our customers to become the pre-eminent leader in Japan’s real estate brokerage industry.
